My fascination with Anatomy and Physiology started as a child and has continued to amaze me as I grow and learn throughout my career. I started my life in health care in 2008 as a Medical Laboratory Assistant before deciding to further my education and interest in Anatomy by returning to school and going on to graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in New Westminster in 2017.
Throughout schooling, I received a multitude of wonderful different opportunities to practice my skills, working at GF Strong rehabilitation Centre in Vancouver, with the athletes at UBC, the hospice at Canuck Place, as well as the Multiple Sclerosis and Pregnancy inreach Program at the school.
As a teenager I used to swim competitively and have personal experience and familiarity with injuries commonly associated with the strain and overuse that is common in this sport. I have a special interest in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain; but am also trained to treat whiplash, repetitive strain injuries, sciatica and a multitude of other conditions.
Everyone’s body is unique, and stores stress in different areas of the body which can sometimes manifest as pain or dysfunction. Massage Therapy can help bring more awareness to your body and ultimately help you recognize the signs before they become a repetitive issue. I love being able to help others and getting to know my clients to work with them in achieving their health goals.

My name is Birthe which is a Danish name, pronounced Beer-da. I grew up in the lower mainland but moved to Alberta in the early 1990’s to raise my family. I am a mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of 3. I recently moved back to BC to help care for my aging family members.
I took all my massage training in Edmonton, having graduated in June 2021 from MacEwan University. I then continued my education by taking the 3-year acupuncture program while continuing to work as a RMT. Now being back in BC, I will only be working as a Non-RMT until I take the board exams in Spring 2025.
I have knowledge of relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, dynamic cupping, prenatal, and lymph drainage massage techniques. I specialize in whole body treatments, meaning that I will work the problem areas but also the rest of the body. This can include range of motion testing, improving body mechanics and applying stretches within and outside of treatment room.
I look forward to helping you with all your healing needs.
